 TAKING YOGURT REGULARLY

Low-fat yogurt naturally contains both high-quality carbohydrates and protein, making it an excellent food for slowing or preventing an unhealthy rise in blood sugar. Studies also show that a diet high in calcium from yogurt and other calcium-rich foods is associated with a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes.

TAKING FRUITS

APPLE :- taking one apple in 1 day keeps the doctor away has been rightly said as apples are rich in fibres and contain Vitamin C which is good for diabetic patient

KIWI :- It comes under the category of ‘Low’ GI because the high fibre content of kiwi slows the uptake of sugar during digestion, which means that the glucose is less rapidly taken up by the body and only slowly released into the bloodstream.

BLACK JAMUN :- Seeds of these fruits can be powdered and consumed by patients to control diabetes.  The jamun fruit and jamun leaves are good for diabetes patients.

ORANGE :-These citrus fruits can be consumed on a daily basis by diabetics, as they are rich in vitamin C. Oranges are healthy citrus fruit, but if you have type 2 diabetes.

BERRIES : -Blueberries are small fruits, but they contain a lot of power to help you do the big job of managing diabetes.

PAPAYA : – Studies suggest that consuming papaya decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease as well as promotes healthy skin and hair, increases energy and decreases overall weight.

DOING PHYSICAL EXERCISE OR YOGA DAILY 

This keeps your body active during summer. When you have type 2 diabetes, physical activity is an important component of your treatment plan.  It’s also important to have a healthy meal plan and maintain your blood glucose level through medications or insulin, if necessary.

CYCLING

Cycling is much better than the walking If you cycle for between 45-60 minutes in a session, this will require moderate intensity over a modest duration, depending on your speed and location. Professional cyclers engage in far more intense cycling over longer periods, which can result in your blood sugars falling without careful management.

AVOID ALCOHOLS

If you have diabetes, drinking alcohol may cause your blood sugar to either rise or fall. Plus, alcohol has a lot of calories. If you drink, do it occasionally and only when your diabetes and blood sugar level are well-controlled.
